VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Arizona Track & Field completed day one of the NCAA Indoor Championships on Friday at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
Reinaldo Rodrigues and
Trayvion White-Austin were the two Wildcats to compete on the day. Rodrigues placed ninth overall in the men's long jump and White-Austin finished ninth in the semifinals of the men's 200m.

FIELD HIGHLIGHTS
Reinaldo Rodrigues finished ninth overall in the men's long jump with a mark of 24-9.25 (7.55m). Rodrigues made the event's final and jumped over 7.25m on all six of his attempts. The senior Wildcat earned Second Team All-America honors for his performance and only missed out on the podium by 0.02m.
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
Trayvion White-Austin finished ninth overall in the semifinals of the men's 200m with a time of 20.78. In his final collegiate race, the senior just narrowly missed out on advancing to Saturday's final in the event by only 0.08 seconds. For his efforts, White-Austin earned Second Team All-America honors. White-Austin does not have outdoor eligibility and finishes his historic Arizona career as the school record holder in the indoor 60m, indoor 200m, outdoor 100m, and outdoor 4x100m relay.
